中文摘要 | 英國規範0-5 歲幼兒的學習與發展目標。不論教育部門或民間學術組織均對幼兒基礎階段課程實施結果進行檢討,並提出改進建議。本文首先略述英國學前與小學課程的發展與架構,並從近年發表的官方報告和民間評鑑書整理英國幼兒基礎階段課程的發展現況與課程改革方向。英國幼兒基礎階段的課程經驗與改革方向,不論是在教育部版本的政策建議書或是民間版的課程評鑑書,均提出幼兒基礎階段與小學課程銜接的不連續性,以及對於學前階段幼兒以遊戲為主要教學活動、幼兒個人發展為主導的課程模式此與小學階段的分科教學有所差異。英國的經驗正可以為臺灣《幼兒園教保活動與課程大綱》提供新思維。 |
英文摘要 | The basic stage of childhood education is programmed for the learning and development of children from one-to-five-year old age. The evaluation reports of the Department for Education and the Cambridge Primary Review provided suggestions for a better basic curriculum of the early years foundation stage, helping children ready to school and able to learn. The primary and Childhood curricula are introduced at the beginning of this article. It also presents the main themes of the reform of the early year curriculum. Early year curriculum takes a pedagogy different from the primary curriculum. It reflects the discontinuity of the childhood foundation stage and the first year of primary school. Based upon the British curriculum reform experiences, this paper offers suggestions to the practice of the new curriculum. |
