岸裡社與儒家教育

An-li Tribe and Confucian Education

本文的目的在於描述拍宰族岸裡社與儒家教育的關聯，以及儒家教育對於部落的影響。在清領時期，岸裡社選擇跟清廷合作，因而獲取大量的土地。為了維持土地基業，於是接受漢人的儒家教育，特別識字教育，成了不得不的選擇。經過一段時間的累積之後，岸裡社人也熱衷於求取功名，以避免土地的流失。雖然，如此的作為帶來某些好處，但也對於原有的村社傳統造成破壞。

The article describes the relations between Confucian education and the An-li tribe， a branch of Pazch people in the central Taiwan， and its impact on the latter. The An-li tribe chose to cooperate with the imperial court of the Qing dynasty， and assisted offi cials to put down popular revolt， thus got a lot of land. In order to maintain the property， An-li tribe accepted Confucian education of the Han people， particularly literacy education. They also became keen to seek educational and political achievements to avoid loss of land. Despite the benefits obtained， the An-li tribe also lost certain traditions.
