中文摘要 | 近年來,英國各項重視學童權益的報告書與法令相繼出爐,繼而就國定課程進行革新;有鑑於此,英格蘭教育行政機關「兒童、學校與家庭部」與「資格與課程局」研議如何修訂小學課程,目的在於簡化科目與重視各階段課程之一貫性。英格蘭政府預定於2011年九月起實施修正後的「新小學課程」。本文主要目的有三:第一,在於了解當前英格蘭小學課程革新的背景與原因;第二,了解英格蘭小學課程的改革內容與特色;第三,針對英格蘭小學課程革新內容進行評析。作者認為這項革新具有三大特色:「設有明確的課程目的」、「劃分為個學習領域」、與「重視個人層面之發展」。最後,作者對於這些特色提出三點評析:「訂定明確的課程目的,惟成效仍待評估」、「小學採取學習領域之設計,符合社會需求與國際趨勢」、以及「兒童中心與社會效能哲學觀之拉鋸」。 |
英文摘要 | Recently, the British government launched some reports and laws on the children's rights, and revised the National Curriculum in England. The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority revised the English schools curriculum. The purposes of this reform were to slim down the current programs of study and strengthen the continuity and progress of learning between the different stages. The DCSF announced to implement the New Primary Curriculum in September 2011. The purposes of this article were to understand the contexts and reasons of this innovation and to know the content and specialties of this curriculum as well as to discuss this reform. The author argued that this reform described some clear aims of curriculum through six areas of learning and paid attentions to the personal development. In the end, the author illustrated three criticisms for the English primary curriculum. First, English government set up some clear educational aims for the revised curriculum with unsure efficiency. Second, the redesigned areas of learning for primary curriculum agreed with the social needs and international trends. Third, there were some conflicts between the philosophy of learner-centered and social efficiency under the implementation of new curriculum. |
