英文摘要 | From the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th, advanced intellectuals and enlightened personnel in the ruling class at that time had paid much attention to and appealed for rural education, and brought forward some assumptions for its development. All these not only gave necessary preparations for later bourgeoisie intellectuals to carry on rural education movements and for the Communist Party of China to lead the practice of rural education, but also revealed certain laws of rural education development: 1. Rural education should rely on the arousal of advanced intellectuals and more on the consciousness of peasants themselves. 2. Social inequality should be broken and a regime by workers and peasants should be established so as to provide a political guarantee. 3. Peasants’ economic problems must be solved in order to build a stable economic foundation. 4. Promoting the development of rural education involved putting the functions of laws and rules into play, making good use of social forces, and having the existing education system play its functions. |
