中文摘要 | 本文采用丹尼森(Denison)的组织文化理论模型,对美国大学在质量管理中采取的针对性措施和开展的理论研究进行分类梳理。文章首先对组织文化经典理论以及美国大学的组织文化特征作了简要分析,归纳了大学自身组织文化特征与开展质量管理的需求间存在的内在矛盾;在此基础上,文章采用丹尼森的组织文化四维度模型,并结合耶鲁大学和美国中西部某社区大学的案例研究,从四个方面对美国大学开展质量管理的措施进行深入考察,发掘其内在规律和特色;文章最后从指导思想、实施路径、工作保障等方面总结美国大学的经验,供我国大学开展提升高等教育质量的实践作参考。 |
英文摘要 | Based on Denison爷s organizational culture model, this study approaches organizational culture by explo-ring the context in which TQM processes evolved at American universities and colleges. Firstly, with the aid of litera-ture analysis and content analysis, some core values of the universities爷organizational culture which may affect TQMare revealed. Secondly, in order to find out the ways in which the universities and colleges explore to improve theirteaching quality, four measurements extracted from Denison-s organizational culture survey are studied with somepractices of Yale University and a comprehensive community college( Midwest County Community College). Finally,an integrated solution of implementing change is proposed, which can be used as a reference for the Chinese universi-ties and colleges in their practices. |
