本研究以2008-2010年中国高校自杀数据为基础，得出了关于中国大学生自杀现象的一些规律性结论。研究发现，中国大学生自杀率低于社会同龄人口自杀率，低于美囯大学生自杀率，也低于世界人口自杀率。中国矢学生自杀率较低的重要原因在于我国高校建立了较为成熟的心理危机应对工作机制。
