Why Korean and Chinese Students Have Similar Expectations of Employment

本研究通过两套问卷调查数据，并且结合访谈所获资料，对在华韩国留学生以及中国大学生所期望的就业部门、就业地点以及升学愿望等就业期望进行了分析比较，发现这两个群体在上述就业期望上具有很大的相似性，比如大多数韩国留学生也希望在大型企业、政府部门就业，在大都市就业，并追求更高的学位等。本研究将这种就业期望的相似性归因为两国社会文化背景的相似性，并且试图说明目前中国大学生种种就业期望的合理性。本研究还将根据韩国留学生的就业期望的现状，尝试预测未来若干年内中国大学生就业期望的演变趋势。

Based on questionnaire surveys and interviews，this study compares and analyzes the expected employment sectors，cities，and willingness to pursue advanced studies between Korean students m China and Chinese college students. Empirical results show great similarities between the two groups. Like Chinese students， most Korean students in China also prefer working in large corporations/ governmental sectors in metropolises and expect to pursue graduate studies. This study attributes such similarities to the similar socio-cultural background and attempts to prove the rationality of Chinese college students ^ expectations of employment. The paper also predicts the future trend of Chinese college students ^ expectations of employment.
