论信息技术对高等教育变革和发展的促进作用

Discussing on the Promoting of IT to the Change and Development of Higher Education

信息化是高等教育变革和发展的一个重要推动力量。文章首先分析了人类进入21世纪以来世界高等教育所面临的全球化、大众化、财政危机、作为国家“公共产品”传统理念的转变、学生群体多元化等挑战和新趋势，接着从三个主要方面阐述了信息技术已经和正在对高等教育产生的影响及作用，最后指出了大学教学信息化变革面临的困惑与问题。

IT has become an important promoting force for the change and development of Higher Education. First the authors analyse and summarize the new challenges and trends in Higher Education such as globalization, popularization, financial crisis, more and more diversification for learners etc. Then discuss the main effects and influences about IT on Higher Education, including providing more and more broaden opportunities for various learners, promoting global knowledge sharing, building global research community. At the end, using IT to change teaching and learning is also being discussed.
