A book review of Practice Teaching: A Reflective Approach

教育实习是职前外语教师教育课程设置的关键，而反思为教师实现专业发展、形成职业能力提供了必由之路。本文评介了Jack C. Richards 与Thomas S. C. Farrell 于2011 年合作出版的《教育实习：反思途径》（Practice Teaching: A Reflective Approach）一书，包括对该书主要内容及结构体例的简要介绍和评价，以期为我国职前外语教师教育的实施和研究提供参考。

Practice teaching is an indispensable component of any language teacher education course, while reflection is a requisite for teachers’ continued professional development. Practice Teaching: A Reflective Approach initiates a reflective approach to practice teaching which encourages pre-service teachers to explore and reflect on the nature of language teaching and their own teaching through the experience of practice teaching. This review summarizes and critiques the major contents of the book, aiming to provide implications for future research and practice.
