中文摘要 | 2013 年伊始,由北京市教育委员会主办,北京外国语大学中国外语教育研究中心和外语教学与研究出版社共同承办的“有效读写课堂的教学与研究研修班”为如何进行有效的大学英语读写教学与研究开启了全新的思路。周燕教授在关于“读写课程与教师角色”的讲座中提到在多元文化背景下读写能力应该涵盖语言、认知、社会、文化四个层面的能力。这一概念使笔者对多元文化背景下大学英语教学的特点有了新的认识。本文以“多元文化”为出发点,结合研修班学习各个环节的内容从大学英语读写课堂的教学目标、教学资源、教学方法、教学活动以及教师角色五个方面探讨有效大学英语读写课堂教学的多元性。 |
英文摘要 | A multi-dimensional cultural perspective of teaching reading and writing in college English has been vibrantly presented at An Integrated Course on Effective Reading and Writing sponsored by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, co-organized by the National Research Center for Foreign Language Education and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press on January 11-12, 2013. Professor Zhou Yan suggests literacy in a world of multi-dimensional culture should embrace four levels of competence, including linguistic, cognitive, social and cultural competence. This paper summarizes the contents covered in the short course and discusses its implications to college English teaching in reading and writing from the perspectives of teaching objectives, resources, methods, activities and the role of the teacher. In all the five areas, effective college English reading and writing teaching feature in multi-dimensionality. |
