設計作品評量方式與規準在視覺傳達設計類競賽評審之應用

Applying the Evaluation Methods and Criteria of Design Works in Judging of Visual Communication Design Competitions

本研究旨在探討應用設計作品的評量方式及規準於視覺傳達設計類設計競賽中之評審方式及標準的實施狀況，以尋求較有效率且公正、客觀的評審方式及共同標準。首先針對設計作品評量方式及規準相關文獻進行探討，進而蒐集國內外視覺傳達設計類競賽規定之評審流程、方式及標準，最後，與曾多次擔任國內外設計競賽評審的專家學者進行訪談，並將所蒐集的資料與訪談結果做交叉資料互證的對照分析。研究結果顯示，受訪者一致認為較有效率及公正客觀的評審方式，包括以具專業素養的評審為前提或要素、評審流程採階段性評審、方式為不記名投票表決，共同的評審標準則包括創意、美感、表現技法。

The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of judging methods and criteria in visual communication design competitions that applying the evaluation methods and criteria in design works, in order to achieve more efficient, impartial and objective judging methods and the common criteria. First, this study reviews literatures about evaluation methods and criteria of design works, and then collects information of judging processes, methods, and criteria established in foreign and domestic visual communication design competitions. Finally, the positive data are gathered by interviewing with professionals who served as jurors in design competitions frequently, and then to be compared and analyzed for cross data mutual-verified. The results show that the interviewees’ opinions about the more efficient, impartial and objective judging methods of visual communication design competitions include that: the jurors should be provided with professional equipment as the premise or an essential factor, the judging process should be divided into several phases, and the judging method is adopted through voting by secret ballot. The common judging criteria include creativity, aesthetic sensibility and performance skill.
