The Study of Related Factors of School Principal's Behavior Change Leadership and Behavioral Intention
The main purpose of the research is to explore the behavioral change leadership of elementary school principals, behavioral intentions, and the influential factors of behavioral intention. Based on the research conclusions, the suggestions are provided for administrative authorities, schools and principals as references to enhance the behavioral change leadership of elementary school principal as well as to elevate creative development and school effectiveness. 2658 questionnaires have been distributed to public and private elementary principals in the country. The major research tools applied in this survey research are researcher-developed questionnaire scales. They are the behavior scales of the behavioral change leadership of elementary school principals, the behavioral change leadership intention scales, behavioral change leadership attitude scales, the behavioral change leadership subjective norm scales, the behavioral change leadership and the perceived behavioral control scales of elementary school principals. Based on the questionnaire survey method, the analysis methods applied in this study were t-test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlation, and multiple regression.
Through statistics analysis and discussion, research conclusions obtained were as follows:
1. The current condition is good for the behavioral change leadership, behavioral intention, behavioral attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control of elementary school principal.
2. Elementary school principals with different backgrounds show partial differences in behavioral change leadership, behavioral intention, behavior attitude, subjectivenorm and perceived behavior control.
3. There is a correlation between the behavioral intention and behavioral change leadership of elementary school principals. The behavioral change leadership is related to subjective norm, perceived behavior control and behavioral change leadership intention. Furthermore, there is also a correlation between the behavioral change leadership and the perceived behavior control.
4. The behavioral change leadership intention and behavior change leadership of elementary school principal present a distinctive prediction. What's more, the behavioral change leadership attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control of elementary school principal also present a distinctive prediction.
