The research, establishment and implementation of principal professional standards, has become an important measure for each country in the world to promote the professional development of principals, and improve school management performance. This article aims to provide important meaning of inspiration and reference for the construction of our principals' professional standards by the comparative study of the establishing main bodies, principles, and contents of principals' professional standards on the United States and Australia.
