Review on Anti-Bribery Mechanism of British Universities

2010年英国《反贿赂法》的颁布及其新要求，促使英国各高等院校重新修订本校的反腐政策，并以此为契机推进更为高效的大学反腐治理，强调反腐理念的认同，建立反腐治理组织，制定成员共同恪守的行为规范，以及建立规范化的反腐治理程序。英国高校探索形成了主动预防、过程控制、严惩问责、持续完善一体化的旨在标本兼治、惩防并举的反腐长效机制，推进了英国高校的廉政建设。

In 2010, British government has issued the Bribery Act which requires the universities to revise their anti-corruption policy seriously. It is also an opportunity to construct more effective anti-corruption mechanisms for these universities. UK universities emphasize understanding ideas of anti-bribery, constructing governance organization for anti-bribery, developing a code of conduct abided by their members and establishing standardized anti-corruption governance procedures. A long term mechanism both for punishing and preventing bribery has been formed including active prevention, process control, severe punishment and accountability and continuous improvement, which will be helpful for anti-corruption construction in UK universities.
