中文摘要 | 混合学习作为一种新型教学模式,实现了传统面对面教学模式和在线学习模式的融合,使得英语学习朝着个性化和交互式自主化的方向发展,从而有效提高了大学英语教学效果。因此,研究混合学习模式对提高英语教学具有重要意义。本研究通过对170名非英语专业大学生进行问卷调查和英语写作测试,探索了混合学习模式对大学生英语写作水平及写作动机的影响。研究通过建立小型语料库,并利用语料库检索分析软件Wordsmith分析语料库中作文文本的词汇复杂度、词汇稠密度、词长、句数和句长五项指标,应用社会科学统计软件SPSS13.0对所有数据进行描述性分析和相关分析。研究结果显示,混合学习模式对提高英语写作水平有积极的促进作用;学生的英语写作学习动机明显增强,尤其是内在动机得到显著提高;学生对于混合学习满意度较高。文章最后探讨了混合学习在大学英语写作教学方面的优势以及本研究的局限性。 |
英文摘要 | As a new teaching model in the college English teaching reform, blended learning integrates traditional face-to-face teaching and web-based teaching, enabling learners to develop individual study and interactive autonomous study, and finally improving the effect of teaching and learning. Therefore, the study of blended learning has profound implication for English teaching and learning. This experimental study explores the influence of blended learning on the English writing proficiency and motivation of 170 Chinese non-English major college students, through questionnaires and English writing test. The writing texts were compiled to establish small-sized corpus, adopting the corpus analyzing tool Wordsmith to analyze its lexical diversity, lexical density, average word length, average sentence length and sentences. The statistical software SPSS was used in descriptive and correlation analysis. The results show that blended learning has a positive effect on the improvement of English writing proficiency and learning motivation, especially intrinsic motivation, and students are very satisfied with this new teaching model. In addition, this paper also discusses the advantages of blended learning in the field of college English writing and the limitations of this study. |
