新住民語言教材使用經驗初探-以台南縣為例

The experiences of using the New Residents language teaching materials in Tainan County

新住民的生產力，為少子高齡化的台灣社會，帶來一股豐沛的生命力，而新住民子女進入校園，對於教育現場帶來衝擊，新住民及其子女之學習及適應狀況，需要關懷與協助。隨著新住民與其子女的人數增加，新住民對於生活適應和教養子女的學習需求越顯重要。許多研究顯示，語文是女性新住民教養子女與生活適應的障礙，政府透過許多專案，由各縣市政府等單位開設輔導教育班，為外籍母親開設課程。目前有許多新住民輔導教育班進行中，多以成人識字班教材與各縣市編輯的新住民教材為主要讀本，但是否真正符合新住民的需求，則未見深度的探討。本研究以多元文化教育為主要觀點，先回顧新住民識字教育的研究和現況，進一步分析縣市層級出版的新住民教材，訪談教學者與新住民受教者，經由半結構式深度訪談，呈現參與課程使用教材之經驗原貌。希望透過了解新住民真正的學習需求，參考任課教師的意見、和對於現有教材與編輯教材的想法，提出結論和建議，以供未來編輯新住民教材的參考，希冀更符合新住民的學習需求。

The New Residents produce many offspring for the lower birth rate and higher aging Taiwan Society. The New Residents and their kids need concern and helps for the learning and adapting condition after the kids enter the educational system. By the population of the New Residents and their kids get bigger， their needs for life adaption and kid educationbecome more and more important.According to many researches， language is the obstacle for the New Residents to teach kids and adapt life. The government instructs the local governments to hold up counseling andeducating classes for the New Residents by some projects. Nowadays there are many counseling and educating classes keeping going， and most of them use adult literacy materials and the New Resident Textbooks edited by the local governments as main readers. However，no one checks seriously if those readers are what the New Residents need.In this study， the researcher will review the researches of the New Residents and thecondition mainly by multicultural education perspective， then analyze the New Residents textbooks edited by local governments， and interview teachers and some New Residents who are taught in the counseling and educating classes. By semi-structure deep interview， the researcher would like to present their original experiences. By realizing the New Residents’truly needs and according to the teachers’ opinions， the researcher will give conclusions and suggestions.
