文章梳理了知识可视化中视觉隐喻的研究现状，并试图从知识可视化与视觉表征的内在关系出发，探讨知识可视化中视觉隐喻的涵义及其思维方式与方法。在对视觉隐喻本质涵义的阐述中，结合隐喻学将知识可视化中的视觉隐喻分为被动和主动两种类型，并从广义和狭义两个层面对知识可视化中的视觉隐喻思维方式进行了探讨，旨在为知识可视化中视觉隐喻的恰当运用提供一定的方法参考。

The thesis reviews the research status of visual metaphor in knowledge visualization， Trying to start with the inner relationship between knowledge visualization and visual representation， discussed the meaning of visual metaphor in knowledge visualization and it s thinking methods. Based on a theory of metaphorology， the thesis divided visual metaphor into two types including passive and active during the discussing of the essence of visual metaphor. The thesis then analyzing the visual metaphor thinking mode from broad sense and narrow sense， so as to offer certain reference methods for a proper use of visual metaphor in knowledge visualization.
